Who we are

This policy covers the internal application “Grok Bot - Marx” operated by Marx Corporate (“we”, “us”) for our own business use, in connection with Stash Shop (stashshop.co.uk).

What this app does

The app connects to our QuickBooks Online company so our authorised internal tools (including Grok Bot) can read accounting data such as customers, invoices, bills, payments, and reports.

Data we access

With authorisation via Intuit OAuth, the app may access QuickBooks Online accounting data for the connected company, including business contact and transaction information held in that company file.

How we use data

Data is used only to operate our internal business workflows (for example answering operational questions, reporting, and subscription or spend reviews). We do not sell this data. We do not use it to provide a public multi-tenant product to other QuickBooks customers.

Sharing

We do not share QuickBooks data with third parties except: (a) Intuit / QuickBooks as the platform; (b) infrastructure providers needed to run our internal tools, under confidentiality and security controls; (c) when required by law.

Storage and security

Access tokens and credentials are stored securely and used only by authorised systems and staff. We apply access controls and keep write/delete capabilities disabled unless explicitly enabled for a specific task.

Retention

We retain QuickBooks-derived data only as long as needed for the internal purpose, then delete or anonymise it. OAuth tokens can be revoked by disconnecting the app in QuickBooks or regenerating credentials.

Your rights

Because this app connects to our own company file, requests about QuickBooks data should go through us. You can disconnect the app at any time in QuickBooks Online under Apps / Connected apps.
